Hats off to Pizza Papalis employees for allowing us to dine in the Taverna Banquet Room which was a better seating options for our party of nine plus a toddler. This was very accommodating for two individuals in our party who were both in wheelchairs. It's a win-win for me whenever a restaurant is notably handicapped accessible. Bravo! Thank you Jessica! This room can be reserved for meeting, celebrations and luncheons. We had several plates on our tables and various pizza options being shared around our table including wings, Greek chicken salad and fries. I ordered a small Chicago Style Bacon Cheeseburger pizza that lasted three whole days. FYI: It heats up at home very well in an air fryer.
Love the cheeseburger deep dish pizza. Also the vegetarian is great. Always great service. Friendly staff.
Omg where to start?! we're from California, and this place was recommended to me by a coworker who had recently been. We had a hard time deciding between Chicago style and Detroit style and our server, Mandy, suggested we get a small of each. Y'all. We were not disappointed!!!! Both pizzas were two of the best pizzas I've ever had!!! The crusts were very different from each other. The sauce was fresh and made in house. The veggies were fresh, and the sausage was nice and spicy. The ranch and blue cheese were also made in house and out of this world good. Mandy gave great beer rec's for local beers. The service was phenomenal. Mandy was friendly, gave great recommendations, very knowledgeable and relatable!! 10/10 would highly recommend!!!
Not to be missed until end of February be Half Off Appetizers M-F 2pm till 5 pm. Outstanding mega Deal includes Wings regular n boneless. Been a couple years this special got us in the door. Super Low price Lunch Specials, she had the Lunch Pizza and Salad only $10 , for a buck fifty more upgraded Salad to a Antipasto Wowed. I did a full pound Wing's half price, two sauces Bbq and Peach Heat my Favorite. Added Meatballs smothered in Melted Cheese and Bread points, Spinach Feta Bread outstanding Delicious . All this for only 30 bucks, yes had leftovers. Following the Facebook page for these and other special deals. Shout out to Emily our Superstar Waitress, so friendly and provided 5 star service. She's been a employee for 3 years and is very interested in the Foodie scene. I'm still a loyal customer here and for good reason! I have never had a problem with an order I've placed here, and the employees have always been very nice anytime I've talked to them. I come by and get a medium deep dish Papalis Gourmet pizza about once a month, and although the prices have gone up (like everywhere else), it is still a good deal for a single person like me. It will last me 2 or even 3 days sometimes. And these taste great as leftovers. I eat them right out of the refrigerator! The restaurant itself is pretty empty usually when I get my order. But that's right when they open usually so I understand that. I really hope that this place doesn't close down like some other restaurants in that area, Primanti's being the latest casualty in this economy. I really hope Papalis doesn't end up like that. I'm not sure I could recover from that loss...LOL. Thanks to all the employees at Papalis-Taylor. As awesome as the food is, it's your attitude and your help that keeps me coming back just as much as the food!
